It all started in 2019 with a simple question amongst a circle of jewelry-loving friends: Where can we sell or consign jewelry that we no longer wear? The options turned out to be much less dazzling than the pieces we were looking to sell...
Our highly experienced and award-winning founder and CEO – Shannon Bowen-Smed – immediately recognized that she could create a better option. And just like that, the first iteration of CANARY was hatched!
Since then, CANARY has evolved! Today, our jewelry catalog also includes meticulously selected new jewelry items created by reputable manufacturers and up-and-coming designers. In addition, we are now also working with other female operated organizations to bring our flock an array of authenticated, highly sought after accessories.
